The conference will take place one week before the semester starts, and Utrecht will be very busy. We very strongly advise you to book your accommodation as soon as possible, especially if you are looking for budget options.

NH Utrecht****: we have reserved 20 rooms at NH Utrecht (near the Central Station). 15 minutes walking distance to the conference location. The prices for the rooms, including breakfast are 153,90 Euro / single occupation or 168,80 / double occupation + City Tax. Once you make a reservation with your credit card you will not be able to cancel the room. Star Lodge Hotel*** Just outside of the city, 10 minutes bus ride to the conference location with regular services until past midnight or at 25 minutes walking distance. You can also rent a bicycle at the hotel (the cycling route to the venue is very easy). Prices for rooms: 90 Euro including breakfast for both single or double use. This is a special offer for our conference guests. To get these special rates, please contact the hotel manager Floris van Es directly per e-mail to info@starlodge.nl and refer to “A Million Pictures”. This hotel also offers free car parking.

Hotel Oorsprongpark**: a smaller hotel, 15 minutes walking distance to the conference location. Prices for the room are 118 Euro / single room including breakfast and double room: 148 Euro including breakfast. Book directly at the hotel. We could not negotiate special group prices.

Budget Options

Budget options will be very popular in this period of the year, so please make your reservation as soon as possible
Hostel Strowis very nice hostel in 3 minutes distance to the conference venue. The single rooms are already booked but there are still 4 and 8 person’s dormitories available. Be quick!

Hotel Domstad* 5 minutes walk to conference venue. Sober 1 star family-run hotel with shared facilities. Single room 45 Euro, Double room 60 Euro, Triple 80 Euros.

Hotel Stay Okay Utrecht 5 minutes walking distance. A newly opened hostel. Also here: private rooms are already booked and you should be quick if you want a bed in a dormitory!

Bed and Breakfast City Center 8 minutes walking distance to conference venue.

No budget option
