Exhibition Opening: Een eeuw thuisbioscoop – Van projector naar smartphone

This exhibition is dedicated to more than 100 years of home entertainment and the self-documentation on family life in all kinds of visual and audiovisual media. Why did and do we take so much efforts to document ourselves and our (family) life? The exhibition is realized by Limburgs Museum Venlo and researchers from research project “Changing platforms of ritualized memory practices. The cultural dynamics of home movies”, which is a collaboration between Maastricht University (NL), University of Groningen (NL) and the University of Luxembourg (LU). The exhibition runs until 30 October 2016.
