Launch & Workshop eLaterna

 Our Associated Partners at Trier University invite you to the launch of the new research platform eLaterna created by the Trier Center of Digital Humanities and the Department of Media Studies at the University of Trier. eLaterna provides a major basis to understand the history of the magic lantern, the screen and the art of projection in historical context. The opening address “Digital Media History and Hands-on Approach” will be given by Prof. Dr. Andreas Fickers, Director of Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH) at the University of Luxemburg on June 4th. A workshop on the following day will introduce the main features of eLaterna Archive and eLaterna Companion to those interested in the production and publication of works in the historical art of projection within the eLaterna research platform.
