logo-visual-history The webportal www.visual-history.de is an online reference resource for historical visual research. As a reference resource for historical visual research, Visual History wishes to improve networking between historians and presents current research projects in its blog. The bilingual portal (German / English) lists research projects in the field of visual history, mostly within the the institutional / disciplinary tradition of history. The portal has been developed in the project “Visual History. Institutions and Media of Visual Memory”, a collaborative research project between relevant German research institutes in history: the Centre for Contemporary History (ZZF) in Potsdam, the Herder Institute in Marburg, the Georg Eckert Institute for International Textbook Research in Braunschweig and the Deutsches Museum in Munich.
