In de april-editie van de Utrechtse Culturele Zondagen is het project “A Million Pictures” met twee bijdragen vertegenwoordigd. Om 14:15 (herhaling om 15:15) geven Sarah Dellmann en Frank Kessler een mini-college van 15 minuten over hun onderzoek naar het gebruik van toverlantaarnplaatjes in het academisch onderwijs. Zowi Vermeire attended the first workshop which inspired her to write the blog entry “De Toverlantaarn – voorloper van cinema en powerpoint” (The magic lantern – predecessor of cinema and power point) for EYE Exposed, the blog of EYE Filminstitute Netherlands by young people with an interest in (film-)culture (in Dutch).

Frutos, Francisco Javier and Carmen López San Segundo have published the article “Media Archeology in Spain. The audiovisual projections with magic lantern (1692–1899)”In Media History.  The article was published online 11 November 2015.
